Frankston Regional Aquatics Centre

Frankston City Council is building the Frankston Regional Aquatic Centre (FRAC),a major aquatic centre, for providing health, fitness, wellness and recreation opportunities. With a regional as well as local focus, the FRAC will cater for all sectors of the Frankston and Peninsula communities. Over two levels, the project consists of a 51.5m X 25m 10 lane regional pool; a leisure pool, water play areas and water slides; hot water program pool; spa and sauna; café, occasional care, and retail areas; administration, change, shower and toilet areas; gymnasium and multipurpose activity rooms; and meeting / training room. Additionally, the centre will have on-ground car parking for 250 cars and landscaping.

HTPS role as Project Manager included Project Planning and Feasibility, Business Case Analyses, Community Consultation, management of the Concept Design, Government Funding Applications, Design Consultant Procurement, Strategic Advice on delivery models, and preparation of Preliminary Costings.
